At C.A. Goldberg, PLC, we have spent the last ten years taking on pervs, predators, stalkers and big tech platforms. Our founder Carrie recently spoke with The Hill on why she started our firm, some of our earliest cases and how our practice areas span from revenge porn and sextortion to tech product liability.
Carrie notes that she launched the firm in 2014 after her own legal battle, and she committed to fighting the legal hurdles for her clients that she herself experienced and suffered through.
Carrie also calls out the firm’s major case against Amazon involving 22 families who have children who died by suicide after purchasing Sodium Nitrite from the e-commerce giant. She points out that one of the biggest changes she’d like to see is the end to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which is interpreted by tech platforms to provide immunity for third-party content (AKA the law big tech companies use as a get-out-of-jail-free card).
