Carrie Goldberg is a victims’ rights attorney who has built a team that provides cutting edge legal help for clients under attack by stalkers, pervs, assholes, and trolls. She is the author of 2019 New York Times Editor’s Choice Nobody’s Victim.
Carrie’s work includes:
- Pioneering product liability litigation for victims of catastrophic injuries against technology and social media companies, including representing the plaintiffs in Herrick v. Grindr, A.M. v. Omegle, and Estate of Mikael Scott v. Amazon.com.
- Represented Plaintiff in Michelle Hadley v. City of Anaheim, a woman framed and jailed on falsified evidence; succeeded in summary judgment on Monell Liability and Smiddy Presumption and overcame Qualified Immunity against the Anaheim Police Department.
- Defended against 4 Anti-SLAPP motions for Former Congresswoman Katie Hill in the Los Angeles County matter, Katie Hill v. Kenny Heslep et al.
- Providing effective law enforcement advocacy leading to the arrests of offenders executing cruel and horrific cyber-attacks against clients, including United States v. Juan Thompson and United States v. Ryan S. Lin
- Representation of victims in: US v. David Waldman (NY), US v. Byron Cardozo (NY), US v. Ian Diaz (CA), US v. Griffin Kapelus (NY), US v. Joel Kurzynski (WA)
- K-12 Title IX cases against the NYC Department of Education to fight for underage victims of sexual assault unfairly punished for reporting abuse including L. W. as parent and guardian, on behalf of her infant daughter K.M., v. The City Of New York, The NYC Department Of Education, Carmen Farina, As Chancellor Of The NYC Department Of Education.
- Co-counsel in the representation of 14 women in Jane Doe 1-14 v. GirlsDoPorn.com, et al.
- Removal of over 30,000 sexually graphic images and videos from the Internet that were posted without the subject’s consent
- Submission of 6 Title IX complaints to the US Dept of Education Office for Civil Rights, all resulting in investigations
- Winning a Notice of Claim Statute of Limitations extension for a school rape survivor in Anonymous vs. NYC Department of Education
- Representation of complainants at numerous high school and college disciplinary proceedings
- Representation of numerous abortion providers and clinics under attack by extremists

Carrie is admitted to practice law in New York State, 1st Appellate Department and the Eastern and Southern New York Districts of United States District Court. She is also admitted to The Supreme Court of the United States, US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York and has been admitted pro hac vice in California, Florida, and Massachusetts. She is also a member of the bar in New York State.

In 2020, Carrie received the Domestic Violence Legal Empowerment and Appeals Project Joan Meier Founder’s Award for her work transforming the legal landscape for domestic violence survivors.
