Laura joined C.A. Goldberg in 2023. She specializes in litigating civil cases involving free speech, tech-related privacy violations, and attacks on reproductive rights. She leads the firm’s Anti-Abortion Harassment practice, representing individuals and organizations targeted for providing or supporting access to abortion care.
Before joining the firm, Laura was part of the Liberty and National Security Program at the Brennan Center for Justice. Her work there focused on the intersection of policing and technology, as well as online speech and content moderation.
Earlier in her career, Laura served as an attorney at Brooklyn Legal Services, where she represented low-income New Yorkers in eviction defense and affirmative litigation—many of whom were survivors of sexual or gender-based violence. She also worked at Pregnancy Justice (formerly National Advocates for Pregnant Women), where she defended individuals facing civil or criminal consequences because of their pregnancy or its outcomes and advocated for legal reforms to advance reproductive justice.
