Suit Filed Against Revenge Porn Site Based on Our Clients’ Claims (FTC et al v EMP Media, Inc. et al.) (Jan 10, 2018)

When C.A. Goldberg opened in 2014 to fight for victims of online harassment and sexual assault, myex.com was one of the most prolific publishers of nonconsensual porn. The firm’s first two clients were published on this awful site. And mind you, this was before revenge porn was illegal most places. When you googled their names, it came right to the top. They were mortified. Altogether, we’ve had about 15 cases around the country where people’s genitals were exposed on this site. For years we’ve been plotting its destruction. Our clients’ all over the country share in rejoicing the death of myex.com, and we are pleased that we had a bit to do with this — by providing a declaration to the FTC describing some of our clients’ experiences.
