Fabulous round table discussion on March 18, 2016 at Facebook co-hosted by the Centre for Social Research and Facebook. The impressive roster of international attendees was comprised of leaders from NGOs, women’s rights groups, and Internet safety organization. Antigone Davis, Facebook’s Head of Safety Policy, shared Facebook’s approach to online safety as well as current initiatives to address new safety issues. As the representative from the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative in attendance, I was proud of the robust partnership we’ve had to make Facebook a safer and better place globally.
