Things got interesting on September 23, 2015 at the Working Session on Online Harassment hosted by Google Ideas. Google’s goal for the session was to join a community of experts to learn from one another, and to brainstorm future solutions for mitigating online harassment. We talked about what works and doesn’t work in stopping online harassment and what Google can do about it.
Then we took a group picture.
Oops! The trolls found out they weren’t invited to our party. FOMO!
And they tweeted their tantrums. Thousands of tantrums.
And over post-conference drinks on the highline, Google Ideas replied:
QED.
Then some articles were written about it.
