We are a growing litigation firm in Brooklyn that fights for targets of privacy invasions, stalking and sexual assault. We fight against assholes, psychos, pervs, and trolls.

The mission of our firm is founded on one tenet: We are all one moment away from having our lives upended by somebody hellbent on our downfall. Sounds bleak, but this is joyous work because people come to us in moments of darkness and we know how to get them through to the light.

Our cases involve nonconsensual pornography, online harassment, sexual assault, blackmail, domestic violence, litigation against anti-abortion vigilantes, and Title IX lawsuits. Exposure to disturbing and sexually graphic material, sexual violence, and people in trauma is a regular part of the job.

The position entails all aspects of litigation, administrative complaints with the Office for Civil Rights, tort and Title IX cases against school districts, personal injury, family offense petitions, college and K-12 school grievance proceedings, Internet content removal, advocacy with social media and tech companies, advocacy with law enforcers. The job requires occasional travel, as we have cases around the country.

You have 2-5 years of litigation experience, a New York law license, enthusiasm about our mission, a probing and curious mind, high-risk tolerance when it comes to bringing novel cases and dealing with haters, and a zero risk tolerance when it comes to safeguarding our clients’ privacy. (We will come after you if you ever divulge anything about any of our clients. Sorry to make a threat in a job announcement, but we are serious.)

You are compassionate to our clients and willing to gut our adversaries. You are collegial, fun, industrious, and strategic.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU:

Are admitted not only in New York but also in California or Texas.

Took some time off between college and law school to struggle and find yourself.

Have Family Court experience.

Worked at a nonprofit. (Many of us did too, and it makes us scrappy.)

No bonus points for going to an Ivy law school or getting good grades. We don’t find either relevant when it comes to who performs best under pressure and in court.

Desired start date: Now.

Salary commensurate with experience, but we’re not talking big law dollars. Benefits included.
