Roxanne Rimonte joined C.A. Goldberg, PLLC as a legal intern in 2021 before officially joining our firm as an associate in January 2024. Roxanne’s practice focuses on survivors of sexual assault/abuse, domestic violence, image-based sexual abuse, harassment, and sextortion. She has experience in both the pre-litigation and litigation stages of disputes.

Roxanne earned her bachelor’s degree in Manila, Philippines, where she was born and raised. She then served in the United States Navy for eight years on active duty where she completed two deployments in the Western Pacific and then joined the Navy Reserves for three years while attending law school in San Diego, CA.

During law school, Roxanne was selected as a clinical intern for the California Innocence Project, a non-profit dedicated to freeing the innocent and changing legislation in California. She was also inducted into the Pro Bono and Public Service Honors Society for dedicating her time to the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program, San Diego Public Defender’s Office, and for her invaluable experience clerking for the Honorable Garrett L. Wong at the Superior Court of San Francisco.

Prior to joining the firm, Roxanne was a graduate law clerk at the San Diego Public Defender’s Office where she sharpened her trial skills and courtroom advocacy while serving the indigent community.

Roxanne is admitted to practice law in California, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District and the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Roxanne is fluent in Tagalog.
