Attorney Laura Hecht-Felella joined C.A. Goldberg, PLLC in 2023.
Laura previously worked at the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty and National Security Program, where she focused on issues related to civil rights and technology, as well as content moderation and online speech. Her work included investigating the disparate impact of social media content moderation on vulnerable communities experiencing online harassment, including religious minorities, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals
Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Laura was an attorney at Brooklyn Legal Services, where she represented New Yorkers in litigation, many of whom were victims of sexual violence or gender-based violence.
Previously, she advocated on reproductive justice issues at National Advocates for Pregnant Women, where she worked with a range of clients including individual plaintiffs and community-based organizations.
She graduated from New York University School of Law in 2015, and the City University of New York’s Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College in 2012.
